Types of Bets
The simplest bet that can be placed on soccer matches is on the result of the game, this is known as a ‘1X2’ bet. The bet works in that the home team is the ‘1’, the away team the ‘2’ and the teams drawing the ‘X’. Another common bet that is placed on football could be the number of goals that will be scored by each team or all together, you can say whether the goals will be over or under a specific number. For example, if you picked over 3.5 goals the bet would pay out if 4+ goals are scored and if you bet below 3.5 you would win if 3 or less goals are scored.

Once each team in both groups has played one another the 1st place team of each will face the 4th place team from the opposing group, the 3rd place team will play the 2nd place team and so on. This determines which teams can move forward in the competition. The groups are as follows:
Group A – Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay and a guest team to be announced.
Group B – Columbia, Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and a guest team to be announced.
